This course is an introduction to FRS/GMRS Radio Communications. You will learn:
- The role of CERT emergency communications
- The difference between FRS/GMRS
- How to use a radio using the Midland GXT1000VP4 GMRS radio.
- The importance of using radios to talk to your neighbors
- Learn how to obtain your amateur radio license

This training class is open to individuals who live or work within the communities served by Santa Clara County Fire Department: Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and the unincorporated surrounding areas.
